Crypto, you've got friends here and on the physical playa. Let us know if you need anything else. I don't think much of anyone here is gonna tolerate that kind of BS.

Hey, Joel, maybe they have. Slept through them. Not that what there was of substance was covered in an interesting way. To bad "Schoolhouse Rock" didn't have a catchy little song about all the branches of government that we could refer to.

(Confidentially, the CIA used to have a whole floor--the 13th--in the onetime Great Western building on Center and Shattuck in Berkeley.)
Maybe my constant continuous contemplation on civic correctness has muc to do with growing up in a city which was also the state capital... politics morning, noon and night...

I also recall my government teacher, Mr. Semen.... yeah, that was the spelling as I recall... a southern gentleman conservative democrat.... think Paul Simon without a bow tie... eloquent and elegant... despite growing up in Southern Illinois.

What were we talking about?

American Bail Coalition wrote:License required. Since 1997, one must use a bail enforcement agent licensed in Nevada for recovery operations (NRS 697 et seq.). Fugitive recovery can also be done by the bail bond agent (even one from out of state) who bonded out the defendant (NRS 178.526). Qualifications for a bail recovery agent license (NRS 697.173) are: be 21 years of age, high school or GED diploma, pass drug test 30 before application, pass a written exam, an exam by a Nevada licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, no felony, moral turpitude, or drug convictions, and 80 hours of training (NRS 697.177). After making an arrest, the bail enforcement agent must notify the local law enforcement agency of the jurisdiction in which the defendant was apprehended of his identity, the identity of the defendant, and where the defendant is being taken to be surrendered. Before forcibly entering an inhabited dwelling, a bail enforcement agent must notify local law enforcement (NRS 697-325). UCEA

I don't know what making repeated threats to people (four of us now?) does to one's chances of getting a licence renewed. And what sort of example of "moral turpitude" is being married to a professed cannibal? I wonder how he'd score on a psychiatrict test now anyway? If the issue of Burning Man came up. Any of you law types have any ideas? Go to the licencing board, I suppose.

Well, a troll is a troll, and there is no cure for them, short of total exposure and prosecution. I agree with Rob ( or Pyro, or Calsur, or whoever said it at the M&G) that BRR is some idiot in Sacramento who hasn't got the cojones to come right out and face people in the flesh, so he concocts this crap.

Still, it would be fun to track him down and get in his face... really in his face!

Sorry... my primate propensity for violence just keeps rearing it's ugly head when I think of this creep.

You guys could be right. (For some reason, I used to have a picture of him in a prison cell somewhere with an elaborate fantasy life to make up for his empty loneliness.) In fact, to me one of hte biggest pieces of evidence against this is that the Maia personna was so much less a basket case than the others--she could hold it together for a few weeks without degenerating into the dark side while the rest of the rockheads took 36 hours, tops. To me this indicates that another person may have been involved. Also, A II Z and wrecks seem to have spoken or had extra-board contact with him.

If he's been relitively honest, however, I would like to remind him that he does has something to lose if he continues to make threats. Not only might he have the crap beaten out of him (especially if he tries to get me next year when I'm camped with the firefighters--as fine a bunch of six footers to roost on the playa) but he could use his Bounty Hunters liscence and have trouble attracting guide clients to a business with a public track record of threats to others. That's a little too wild of a west for most yuppies.

If it helps any, it was funny to watch Ring with his "Hello I'm Black Rock Rick" badge at the Meet N' Greet! He almost got decked, three times, within a pico-second of someone reading it!! For one thing it shows the lack of tolerance that ePlayans have for this cretin... for another, it shows what a joke he really is.

It's good to get rid of the schmuck.

Kind of the opposite of my experience. I recognized Ring right off from his avatars and that red hair, but I'd lost my glasses and couldn't read the tag. When I did, I bust a gut laughing--it was a great way of dissing him because we knew he wasn't going to show to THAT. It felt WONDERFUL! Of course Ring isn't no 6'2". What's with all those e-playans being shorter in person anyway? Or is that desert shrivel?

I know what you mean... I'm shorter in person, too. I'm actually surprised every morning when I look in the mirror. I used to be 7'3"... I'm now down to 6'2".

Must be an age thing... Or the heat on the Playa...?

Yes... to clear up any confusion, Rian is short. Cute as a bug (well, a cute bug) and short... But we have often been mistaken for each other, but, as I have pointed out before, Rian is the short one with breasts, I am the tall one with a fat ass.

...and what was that hair thing you were doing on Tuesday (or Wednesday, or what the hell ever day it was I saw you?) It looked like you had done your hair with a carpet scrubber...

That he accomplished his goals, he made you laugh, he made you cry, He made you furious, he got your panties so far up your ass you probably climaxed. My guess would be he laughed himself off of his sofa and hurt his back and never made it to BM.

Although MeandtheMissus and the kid were camping in the hills and we ran into salt and pepper, white guy and black guy on quads with two Desert Bighorn rams skins and skulls tied on. We talked, they would not tell us where they shot them, but did say that they planned visit the encampment to see the "slickers" but while scouting the week before had picked up some big sheep tracks.. and they figured a Boone and Crockett entry would be more interesting.... Coulda been your no show Gentlemen Callers.
