Frozen cooked oatmeal?

I love the cook ahead/Freeze/thaw/heat concept for food, but I'm curious if pre-cooked steel-cut oats (note: the hourlong-cooktime kind) freeze well? I'd rather heat up a batch of Irish oats with fruit, cream and nuts already in, than the instant kind.
