Bah, you're just jealous because you didnt think of the idea first. Not in the slightest. I just thought it was odd that for someone who was not content about his exclusion the previous year would want to again re-experience the same, or an analagous form of that exclusion just the same. Putting th...

Why not one of "Dicky," he's managed to spend two consecutive years in a "box." Given all the good experiences that he excluded himself from, I'd say that might qualify one for, "Sad and Angry."

Yes, no turning of The Man was allowed during the day; but at night, with a little effort, he could be turned until about 3am.

You know, you may be on to something there. Let a topless Barbara Bush lead the procession and I can guarantee your Yahoo problems will be solved. :)

Good topic and good advice as it's always best to be prepared when Murphy comes calling. But just in case FEMA and others are a bit too busy to save your heiny, here's one more link. Albeit a bit on the 'radical' side, but literally the A-Z on just about every survivalist skill subject you can think...

I hate to say it, but the well consumed old guard here in the States (i.e. Bud, Miller, Coors, and shall I even mention, Schlitz, Schaffer, Old Milwaukee, Pabst, etc - that somehow still manages to find a market) is nothing to brag about either. Thank the beer gods for the introduction of superior m...

Olivia, I think you missed what Mars was trying to ask. To answer you Mars, as a guy, I'm not sure exactly what it is about a woman's breasts, legs, derriere, lips, curves, (add whatever else may do it for you here), that does it as it isn't necessarily the same combination for every guy, but know t...

Wow, that's unfortunate. I'm a new burner as of this year, but did my homework in reading and bringing with me, a copy of the Survival Guide in addition to a lot of other "preparatory reading" so as not to get caught with my pants down (no pun intended). I'm sorry to hear you ended up being short of...

Although DallasP has perhaps the subtlety of a hefty sledgehammer, and I wouldn't necessarily run out and nominate him as Ambassador of Goodwill, I do see his point in that judging the attitudes of those who failed to stop as, "ungrateful, self-interested cretins" is about as presumptuous as DallasP...

Wow, that's really unfortunate if that one individual's statement in fact mirrors the views of those at BMorg. If so, and that is the intention behind this filming, then all the BMorg preaching to the contrary in the past, is just that, a thing of the past. That does not bode well for them in their ...

As a Lamplighter lifter, I made my way down 3:00 towards the Apokiliptika camp with a full kerosene lantern at the ready, but just when the moment of opportunity struck, I found myself strangely entranced by the signage, trying to decipher the many Cyrillic markings. That was some of the worst Russi...

I may be new to this experience, but I feel invested just the same in preserving the spirit of this one of a kind event. Not sure if it was mentioned yet, but during the night, the playa definitely had the feel of "Blade Runner," an observation a friend of mine had made too. Lots of neon and creative lighting in a dense, city-like setting, odd shadowing and sounds, and bicycles whizing by with costumed riders.
