Hey all,

I'm posting in the rideshare board too, but in case anyone here has a solution for me:

I'm arriving into Reno airport on Aug 23, and need to find a way to get myself and my stuff in storage (a sizable amount) to the burn.

Happy to pay gas and hauling fee.

Thanks!

This year the Gamelatron, the sonic memorial in the heart of the temple, is back. (Read all about what we have planned here: http://gamelatron.com/bass.php) We're also looking for a place to rest our weary bones. Because we'll be doing long days out at the temple, were looking for a camp with the fo...

Hey all, I come from farrrr away, and am looking to store my stuff post-burn either with a camp that has one of the burning man container program containers, OR with someone who has storage space as close to the playa as possible (wadsworth? empire? gerlach? reno? sparks?). I have about 100 cf total...

Hey all,

I'm looking for the contact of a photographer whose contact info got stolen with my bag.

He was wearing a National Geographic t-shirt, and was shooting on Sunday sunrise at the Golden Dragon/Abraxis set.

If this rings a bell for anyone, please let me know ASAP!

Vanessa

Hey peeps, Now that we're nearly there if anyone's focusing on what to do with their ISH post-burn, here's one solution: Hey Burn folks, Wanna NOT have to haul your shit back form the playa, and instead have it just show up there next year? We have about 300 (insured!) cubic feet left in our storage...

bummer. i didnt even think about it. hope my soul isnt stolen.

Hey Burn folks, Wanna NOT have to haul your shit back form the playa, and instead have it just show up there next year? We have about 300 (insured!) cubic feet left in our storage container, which will be loaded Sunday or Monday post-burn. Then - like MAGIC! - the stuff will return to playa in 2012 ...

Some burners created this. It's SO much better than the official on that doesnt work:

BurningManRides.com

The official rideshare system (rideshare.burningman.com) sucks completely.

It basically is broken.

I'm looking for someone to haul stuff from the SF Bay area to the playa around AUg 26 or so.

HIt me up if you know of something!

I'm looking for a container share to store my stuff after the burn - specifically looking for someone who has a container that gets transported to/from the playa each year - perhaps a camp that is participating in the container program this year. My needs are not great, probably about 80 cubic feet ...

Hey burners, This year I'm helping to bring a band from Sierra Leone, West Africa to the playa. (In their own country, they play to 50,000 folks at their National Stadium!) Here in the US they have just begun collaborations with people like The Roots, Talib Kweli, and K'Naan. Now they want to share ...

any training in african dance?
any training in hip-hop?
just a good dancer?

Africa Galactica needs you.

we're playing on many major stages on several different days, including a big extravaganza thursday night.

contact me at [email protected]

Africa Galactica wants you! Hey fellow burners. We're bringing a little bit of West Africa to Burning Man this year, and we'd love for Africa loving burners and African burners or just burners who want to love Africa to help us out. We're looking for any of the following: - burners going this year w...

Does anyone know if it's a problem to do some arty stuff to the perimeter fence?

Looking for a group or person to perform for a wedding on Wed August 27 at sunset for a wedding.

String quartets? Jazzy goodness? Anything you got, hit me up!

Sorry, not a lawyer.

I just have a friend who is doing a documentary on the process and is looking for people on the playa going through it.

It's a great project and he's a fantastic person -- and the American Dream setting makes it very appropriate this year!

no nudity, just citizenship, or the process of trying to achieve it!

Is anyone on the playa this year either in the process of naturalization or has recently been? (For real, not a "playa" naturalization or anything like that...)

If so, hit me up!

Thanks...

What is that place called, the one where you go when you've lost it, or having a bad bad bad time?

Is it The Sanctuary?

And how does one get in contact with those folks?

Thanks!

Thanks all -- I think we decided to go a different route than remote control planes.

But thanks very much for your suggestions and info!

See you out there

V

Any burners out there are good with the engines of remote-control planes? Need help for an art piece for the playa.
