my immediate feedback to the org was to ban cameras and video completely Are you volunteering to enforce this ban? As well, close the gates after Thursday morning (unless you have a pre arranged art intsallation you are a part of) Thursday seems kind of arbitrary. Why not close them on monday? Thes...

In Cambridge, we have an infestation of cyclists. Many of them are students from all parts of Europe, with every culture's particular bad cycling habits represented. We also have a lot of pubs.

So we have students + unlit bicycles + alcohol...

Good Lord, now Burning Man reminds me of Cambridge.

Personally, I'm happy that Space Cowboys are on the esplanade. The Unimog is a work of fucking art. I like seeing it prominently displayed (even when it's not being utilised for its indended purpose.)

Some really weird shit went down where we were camped on Tuesday morning (outer ring betw. 3:00 and 3:30) This must have been at around 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning. I come back to camp, and two BRC rangers are having an argument with some random woman. Something about the rangers driving too fast, t...

I think I have a better solution. Once Granite Fox is built and we're all breathing coal dust, why not just drag a bigass power cable across the playa from there to center camp? Viola! Problem solved!

This article doesn't particularly make a lot of sense. They cite the large fossil fuel consumption of cars going to the event, and the presence of fire art, and the fact that we burn everything, and then suggest that the solution is... a solar power grid for BRC. While I'd love to see solar power re...
