Fresh fruit and veggies... Share your methods!

Just curious how you keep them on the playa... I've never brought them, but after my last trip out with a vegan, i couldn't imagine not! What fruits & veggies hold up best for you? Where do you store them? I'm thinking a separate cooler, no ice or anything, but just put all the fresh stuff in it to ...

Super secrets... Well this is all i got. Jockey Goggles, Clear - They cost about $5 and I've tried everything from french aviators, skydiving goggles, motorcycle ones... which cost up to 10 times as much. Jockey goggles are the best hands down. Every year I bring a couple extra to bestow on someone ...

Grip Clips... Experiences?

Anyone use these? http://www.shelter-systems.com/gripclips/blowngrom.html I'm hoping to use some of these on my shade cloth this year, I'm sick of grommets they just break out there. Hoping to hear playa experiences if you've got em, they are $5 a piece for the heavy duty ones so they aren't cheap.....

Meant to do this last year, never got around to it... Seems like it could be wicked fun though.

Somebody get some AC/DC and do this already eh?

I won't be there this year :( so try to take pictures if it happens...

Hey everybody... This is the first time I've been able to drag myself to the eplaya in a loooong time. See, I'm not going this year after five straight (gotta go to school), and I've found it's easier if I try to avoid burners preparing to burn. Not easy right now I tell ya. Every year I bring toget...

There's been a few... but this one stands out. Tuesday night this year.. the dust was craptacular.. a preview of Wednesday I guess. We (me my girl and 3 newbs), were somewhere around Lush on the 2:00 side, and needed to hit camp (9 and Saturn). We were drained, and hungry... Weather is a b*tch right...

Gmail Invites...

I was looking for one yesterday, and got bombarded! I have one or two I could part with... Need one? 1gb of free storage (yes 1 GIG), it organizes your emails into conversations (berry cool), and you have a search bar just like google that goes through your email... no more searching for old emails....

WD-40 would work, I just used some Honda General Purpose Lube... it was closest to me.

This stuff looks promising, but don't lube plastic zippers with it.

Where was the Art?

Is it me or was there a lack of art this year? Maybe I just missed it? I pedaled and pedaled, and sadly only came across a few pieces (in comparison to years past). A good portion of them were not new, which is fine but WHERE WAS THE ART? I love my afternoon bike rides, full of discovery and awe... ...

Shade Structure Advice... whaddayathink?

Ok, I have purchased electrical conduit to make some shade over my tent. I bought enough elbows to make it a complete cube-like structure... Even the bottoms have poles along the playa surface, then we rebar over/around them. My question is, is it better to do it this way? OR to just leave the botto...

Gothalot - To clarify, I think it's ridiculous to even suggest restricting bike speed. Now, I understand you don't know me (damn internet!) but I am a very kind human with nothing but respect for those around me. If I'm on the esplanade, I chill out and cruise slow with foot traffic. I don't want to...
