Does it make sense to put reflectix over a tent inside a carport?

Moi again, I’m setting up a nylon tent inside a car port and wondering if it would help to drape reflectix (that aluminized bubble wrap radiant insulation) over the top of the tent? And...while I have your attention...should I attach the tent fly or leave it off, given that it is not needed for rain...
