I'll send you mine, Elliot.

The complete WWW is available online (not just the 1500 or so events that make the book) in advance and it is searchable.
(Not that you have any time to spare before the burn 8) , just sharing info)

When it rains, barefoot is the way to go (squish!).

I think that rubber boots would be sweaty to wear and then would disintegrate from the alkali.

Since it was so hot this year, everyone will be hyper-prepared for heat next year.

So, of course, it will be chilly and rainy.

That was the Gigsville folks. They were funneling all of the traffic to their little portable trailer bar, right across the Portal from us.

Great prank, I walked the line and encouraged their baaad behavior.

Re: Old and Cynical

I'm glad it's back in the park; we lost a great deal of momentum the last three years, as it's hard to bring a theme camp to a warehouse party. So, it was a bit sparse on the ground. Last time we were in the park, there were 50+ theme camps, this time there were 20 :( We were very happy with Destiny...

I always bring individually bagged tampax, with baby wipes, enough for an army of Amazons.

I think as long as your crew is realistic about their ability to deliver and maintain the work throughout the week, it can be a very rewarding experience. We currently have an Artist in our camp who brings playa Art every two years; large projects that he *mostly* handles solo; he builds them in Ren...

Some of the larger Mutant Vehicles are required to have ground guides/spotters when they're moving.

They're not necessary for the rest of us.
