goto pep boys and check out there under carriage lighting kits. I got one for $79 and it had 2-48", 2-36" and 1-7" LED strips with a controller. You can change color, blink different pulses, all different kinds of settings. Two of those kits should do for a MV of that size.

Phil,

have you tried some of the under carriage running lights for cars? You can get them in fluorescent or LED and they are very efficient. the LEDs can be solid or blinky. What kind of lights did you have on your bike, the ones in the newspaper pic?

you people do know the honda and yamaha supper quiet generators are inverters right? They produce 12v then run that into an inverter.
I have a 1000w pure sine inverter in my truck and it puts out the cleanest 120v I'v seen on any other inverter or EU series gererators.

mdmf, the "whole premise" of a strobe is a flashing light. True, most modern strobes use a capacitor. and a zenon bulb. Voltage is in the 1000 range. I have maintained airfield lighting for a large airport and the ones we worked with got to about 50,000v to light a 300,000,000 candle power bulb. He ...

you could just build a box to put the light you have inside with a hole for it to shine out, then put a round disc with holes in it over the hole where your light is and spin the disc. you control the speed of the "strobe" with the speed of the disc.

question on deep cell batteries

Is a 50 amp-hour battery a battery that will run a 1 amp device for 50 hours?

I have these gell cells that are 180 min. runtime with a 25 amp draw. so would that make these 75 amp-hour batteries?

180 min.= 3hours
is 3 hours @ 25 amp draw the same as 75 hours @ a 1 amp draw?
