Wonderful memories, indeed! And I have learned so much in BRC.

Welcome aboard, Trish! What Popeye said. And I can add to it. While ePlaya is not as active as it once was, the entire archive is still right here for you to read and learn from. Two key points: The built-in search function is not the greatest, and it can work better to use a common search engine (s...

All the information is here: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/opc.html But summing it up: The correct bearings for the Huffy Crankbroke and similar Cheap Chinese bikes is the 5/16 x 10, also called bearing #66. The two brands I have here, that I bought online several years ago, are Wheels Manufacturing ...

E-mail the Placement team -- placement@burningman.org -- and ask to sign up for the Placement Newsletter. [There's a way you can do it yourself, but I'm not that computer-savvy.] Also, briefly state what you want to do. Please keep it short and to the point -- they are mostly volunteers and often al...

I also need to guess what you are doing. But I followed the link, and additional links, and found this image: https://i.imgur.com/5Hl06il.png If this is your "foot plate", I see three possible weaknesses. 1 – The metal is thin and the hole is close to the edge. Conceivably, the lag-screw might tear ...

And then.... Someone gifted me a Mongoose Beast with 4.00-wide tires, and suddenly I could FLYYYYYY! Absolutely amazing how it sails over Dust-dunes, even with the Beast (and Dolomite, etc.) weighing over 50 pounds, as opposed to a Huffy Crankbroke at 35 pounds.

Hi, Mary! I have also had to discard my Fb account and start a brand-new one. And recently, the crooks hacked into a dear friend's regular e-mail account. Luckily, I recognized that the message I received "over her signature" was not consistent with her personality, so I telephoned her. We, as a soc...

So, Ukraine is not in NATO. Is that our excuse? "Instant dirty bomb, just add enough dynamite." If that's not an immediate existentia...

Brand new -- many years old -- topic, but is hopefully a reasonably good fit for this thread. I'm looking for a specific quote by... specifically whom? This is about something that was said, and who said it, in the presidential campaign of either 2008, 2012, or 2016. The grotesque blunder in questio...
