Elliot's Naked Bicycle Service, Piano Bar, & Much More 2018

:D Obviously... Elliot’s Naked Bicycle Service, Healing & Mystic Arts Center, Body Painting Free-For-All, & Piano Bar …is returning in 2018! Last year we “officially” repaired 677 bicycles – plus those we failed to write down. And the Do-It-Yourself shop was also a hit, once again. And don’t...

Re: Decent box wine?

We settled on Franzia Crisp White. "Crisp White" sounds dreadful, doesn't it?! Well, it is sweet. But people tell me it is perfect on Playa -- refreshing, they often say when I ask. I cannot explain how that works, but I agree with it myself. In many other settings, it might be considered ...

https://i.imgur.com/iFtmdDy.jpg It took me about five seconds to find this location on Google StreetView. Right. There. Where GLØD Hår & Velvære is now (GLOW Hair & Well-being)... was the cobbler's shop -- easy walking distance from my childhood home on the outskirts of Oslo, Norway. The bu...

Welcome aboard, Sophthp! The others have already given you good advice. I might add... subscribe to Jack Rabbit Speaks -- the official BM e-newsletter. And from my camp's perspective (as an example)... you might want to tell us more about your talents and skills, and what you might want to learn and...

No-Dig Ground Screw?

Any experience with this sort of mail-box anchor? It goes 21 inches into the ground. I wonder whether muscle power is enough? (Of course... "Give me a long enough lever....", but as a practical matter?) https://www.homedepot.com/p/Mayne-No-Dig-Ground-Screw-580D00000/100592729?cm_mmc=social...

Re: Oh the places you go alright

Did someone say "body paint"? We have gallons and gallons of paint, and a nice shaded space with spill-proof floor. Come on over and paint somebody! Bring a friend to adorn with our paint -- whatever. Noon to 6, mostly, but.... Plus... Friday morning is of special interest, to prepare the ...

Re: The Bar 2018 Edition

I looked at my Burner Profile a day or two ago. And there was a button for purchasing $1,200 tickets. As I recall from previous years, the $1,200 tickets may not sell out at all. With these tickets still available directly from BM, there would be no reason on Earth to buy one from an unknown third p...

Re: The Bar 2018 Edition

Late in strike week, I had occasion to watch a DPW crew take down the street sign posts and such. Then they seemed to take a break by our camp -- directly upwind, as it happened. Soon, the breeze delivered a storm of cigarette butts into our camp. Before they took their break, I walked over to them ...

I have a pile of plastic envelopes full of maps, survival guides, WWW, and assorted newspapers, and other paper stuff. Enough so I use it to make collages with at times. I even have a couple 2001 passports from the game where you got doubloons. I knew this stuff couldn't be "rare" and &qu...

Drat.... I never thought to keep tickets stubs.
But I do have a few mementos available for gifting to worthy ePlayans... a 2009 Survival Guide jumped out at me.
This file cabinet is not quite readily accessible, but I will happily dig if there is a request. :D

Looks to me like this thread got off on the wrong foot. The link in the original post takes us to a photo of the 3-d printed gadget installed on a TWO-LEGGED STAND. The two-legged stand is by far the more relevant feature here. https://i.imgur.com/aVFv46w.jpg These are the two basic types of two-leg...
