If you are running lights on a string, one of the quick easy ways to do it is individual LEDs with their own little battery fairly easy to make with an LED a coin battery and a piece of tape...

I use big fender washers and put my 12" nails through them it gives me more surface to pry them out of the ground with. The nails have worked for several years now with a a single fail. They pound in much easier than rebar.

There was someone (theoretically) tattooing people on the playa last year. I went with a friend to check it out and he had pulled up shop and left. They were however in the what when where guide.

Opera on the playa would be wonderful, I was looking for one last year. Another suggestion for an opera that would fit the playa would be Mozart's The Magic Flute, La Boheme fits well too.
