But much like the workers at burningman the Ant knows how to party as we...

I've got a coleman 6000 watt unit and a baffle. Attached to the baffle is a ziplock bag full of earplugs. If you want it to be quiet, camp on the outer streets. This is Burningman and not the Rainbow gathering so plan accordingly

If you have power and a box fan, make a velcro vent hole in the top of your cover and mount the box fan with zip ties to the top of the dome (make sure it is exhausting hot air out of the top) If the weather gets bad , just close the vent. It really helps pull cool air in from the bottom. :)

Simply slipping the pvc over rebar will not help you if the wind creates any lift inside of your dome. You may want to drill a hole at each end of the pvc lengths. Pound some tight candy cane rebar into the playa at the appropriate spots and lash the ends to the rebar. It can get mighty windy out th...

The reason you want 1.5" on each end is to put the center of your hole at 3/4". You will need equal flat space on either side of the hole. Too little on the inside of the strut means your connections will not lay flat. You could use longer bolts in that case but you will lose all structural integrit...
