Vortex Casino
I just wanted to send out a big thank you to the creators of the Vortex Casino. In my opinion you had the perfect blend of risk, surpise, interaction and naughtiness. I lost my ass and had a great time doing it. My only gripe is that you weren't open enough. Hope to see you in some incarnation on th...

Um, Markov? Shouldn't that first sentence read, "Have to tell you InvisibleMan..." ? PetsUntilEaten didn't start this thread, nor has she mentioned Kristy. Wow, serious brain fart! Sorry Pets, I certainly didn't mean to address that to you. Thank you for calling my attention to that Sensei, I can't...

Have to tell you pets, upon my initial reading of your post it wasn't clear to me whether you were making mocking Kristy Kream or hoping she would join your camp. Doesn't really matter though. You made a joke, which was actually an indirect attack on another eplayan (Kristy). Your post was was misun...

Fish Observatory
My favority installation, by a long shot, was the Fish Observatory. I just wanted to tell whoever created it, you are f----ing brilliant. Thank You! .
I laughed my ass off. Anyone else have the pleasure?

--Setup my tent inside one of those Costco carports. Great shade, and it dampened the noise from heavy winds at night. Plus with the large carpet I brought it made a great living/dining room. --Got to the Playa on Monday, even though it meant driving back to Reno on Wed to pick up my wife at the air...

I'm afraid you have me mistaken for someone else sirseaweed. The event that I mentioned occured at night and near center camp. You were not involved in towing anyone at the time, and the guy wire I ran into was not your own. It was a dark area on one of the streets near the cafe, and I was blinded b...

Nah Pets, I'm not offended for myself. I'm certainly not a hippy. I tend to get a little defensive when I feel that friends are being attacked, however indirectly. It's never nice to characterize an entire subculture based on the actions of a few. Just ask Capt. Goddamit how he feels about the Frat ...

Well, unless someone other than the operator of your car was on the PA it was certainly one of your campmembers heckling me. And since the heckler specifically said "Another succumbs to our great strobe lights" or some such, I expect that my being blinded wasn't an isolated incident. So don't shirk ...

P.S. Someone should tell all those guys in black socks, sandals, and nothing else - that ensemble is not a costume! Except maybe if you herd them all into one camp...theme ideas? What, is it required to be costumed at Burning Man now? damn, I didn't get that memo. Hey, some of us just enjoy the lib...

Gotta say I had a great time on the Coliseum in '03, but this year I lost the faith. I mean is it really funny to heckle someone who has run into a guy wire because of your goddamn strobes blinding him! Luckily I wasn't hurt, but fuck you very much for laughing at someone elses misfortune, and enjoy...

-bent rebar into candy canes as suggested on BM website. Stupidest idea EVER! That should be taken off the website- impossible (almost) to hammer in! What did you try to hammer them in with. It was great to attach faces to names at the meet and greet. My only regret was having to leave early so that I could get back to my camp and pamper my overtaxed wife. I really wish I could have stayed to see the entrire BRR incedent. I got to meet a good number of you, Doc Pyro (thanks for hosting)...

Fuck all you hippie haters. I camped with my best friends, who happen to also be long time Rainbows, who happen to also own a successful business and contribute greatly to their community. They, and we, were fully self sufficient, as I expect that the majority of hippies attending Burning Man were. ...
