Ok, its the Sunday after another church holiday and I see there have only been 13 votes; is it possible that only 13 people read new topics? (Why do most of the church holidays promote drinking?) I used to go to beliefnet and made myself seek new topics to discuss, but the problem arose that most av...

haha still, I know I seem to go off topic but every point has a history to it, we are not robots are we? I attended too many one day seminars to think that man doesn't want non-robots. As we are not working for that man directly...I don't think anybody can with the advent of plasible deniability but...

This is kinda funny duck, do you know that about two miles further east on Interstate 80, beyond the Nixon, Gerlach turn-off is a plastic bottle recycle factory? Annnd as long as the bottles are empty with no caps or paper on them, they will take them, I no longer know if they will purchase them fro...

Did the price of Natural Gas rise because one competitor failed and the demand rose, or was it a chance to gouge the public because the cost of Gasoline rose? I still believe where you have a gathering of minds, great things for everyone comes out of it. When we have a gathering around one mind, or ...

If push came to shove, what sort of camp would you be willing to art in? I want a tent that moves to the weather but stays in one place. Can it be done without marring the playa serface? I believe so, you have the support poles hooked up right, they should bend to the weather and reform but one need...

Rob, I brougt a Miata one year because I head they were just the right size for those special batteries, At the time my commute was five miles. Then it changed to eight miles, but still within decent electric comute, however without the nickle cadium batteries they were too light. By the way, a coup...

I noticed you didn't mention the Bar for likely aid and find that to be conspiously, or is that suspiciously prejidicial? Now I have to wonder if you don't want their aid because of some preconceived notion that such type of people who hang in bars are less able to gift, or some other reason known o...

Oh, and about the balloon idea. I have used hugh sheets of mylar with collapsible tent poles effectively. A university frat house I know, uses the same mylar every few months to create a slip-and-slide inside their house, so large enough mylar is an easy commodity to purchase around here. (This shou...

Do not use the cheaper variety of plastic, ask anybody who has owned one of the plastic garages so popular these days, they do not stand up to the gusts of wind we get here in the desert, even with vehicles as anchors. I would suggest wood rather than steel since its much lighter. One of the biggest...

Duck, Ahh, my ego is soothed, thank you. By the by, I have noticed how industry has profited from this event and wonder if you have filed the proper papers for copyright protections on your 'crusher'. If not, please do so, you might as well profit off your contributions, why you may even be able to ...

Rob, Excellant advice, I have noticed that women lead with their chin more often than not in any exchange of differing viewpoints. Its as if they naturally want to project that they are being aggressive, and there is no reasonable way to point out the dangers of such a stance either while they are b...

Duck, I bear you no harm but you really need to address your mental state, I love what you do but really dislike being grouped in the catagory of little piggies. One year, me and a couple of other people were working on setting up a recycle plant, it never left the drawing boards; the children I was...

K4, What is funny about porn and other objectionable offerings on the web is that they still keep trying to hook the unwary and succeed. Whatever happened to the idea that America is the police of the world? Oh, perhaps that means we only can attack entire countries with the idea of making them subs...

well, your right, I do have monster wheels, and do I want to buy a full set of five wheels and tires to save 4 miles a gallon? Perhaps when I am down to slicks. I really didn't want the monster tires to begin with but it does feel nice to be above the crowd, until somebody higher comes along and you...

I was stopped by the powers of burningman discussion from asking "if we are created in Gods image, does that image include the way it thinks", in another thread, so Does your image include the way you think? I drive an american made Jeep with a truck top on it, got rid of the box appearance because those big side windows created quite a drag and I got tired of being pushed all over the freeway by our breezes.
