Let me ask you this, do you appreciate it when other drivers signal you with their headlights that a speed trap is up ahead? Do you do the same for others? Booster: The answer is right in front of you, but you don't want to see it. The reason cops set up speed traps is because too large a percentag...

I was profoundly disturbed to learn that the two domes were not exactly the same size. That was part of the design criteria, and made for great fun. I was only in on the planning a bit, was not able to enjoy the construction phase. The idea is that no pair of boobs are actually the same size, so th...

LCN: Good luck on the house, I have been working on mine for years, and I still have a long way to go. It seems like projects keep popping up faster than I can finish them. Guess it does keep me out of trouble though. I am considering the playa at some point, when depends on how things fall together...

Neat!!

So you did exactly as I asked, floated it out to BRC and gave it night vision, and some audio just for grins.

Wish I had more time tonight, I think I know where I will spend my time tomorrow night.

Thanks much

That is very true.

Just another reason why this year was not a good year. We will see what happens.

I need to get up early tomorrow to help a friend out. Have a good evening, I will probably catch you in the bar some evening this week.

I understand the economy thing, up here it is pretty bleak for a lot of people, I would probably camp on the outskirts somewhere, so I could relax away from people for a while if need be as I am not good in crowds for long periods. You are one of several I have met on this board that I would really ...

Mozy: That is cool, but it is not exactly a live feed. It comes in when the page is loaded, and then is frozen unless you refresh the page. In some areas of the world, I can see where cluster bombs would actually be considered a public service, and depending on where you were at the time, they could make you warm and fuzzy.

Power does ugly things to people. These LEOs are being pulled in from all over the country. Normally they are in a location where they also would be recognized. They tolerate rude people all year while they try to do their job. Where better to release suppressed feelings and take advantage of their ...

I know burners complain about all the LEOs around, but I can understand why the event would pull them in. I have been watching the Gerlach web cam, not near the activity I expected so far. From other posts, I take it that must be a local to the area.

I would think that wind turbines were a better choice than solar. The wind can blow 24/7, sometimes very hard, and by generating power at night you would reduce your storage requirements. I have never looked at the data regarding consistent wind speed at BRC, a little homework might provide some int...
