Thank you guys for the input. We are still crunching stuff up and hope to find a local engineer, but the info has been super helpful in wrapping our pointy heads around this whole issue.
Thanks again,

Are you for trash or community? There is no in-between! When i hear the word community i reach for my checkbook. Long live trash. Down with community! We will be there when the community temple burns. Heretics.

bandits happen.

When we got back to camp from the burn, the camp next to us was in disaray as someone had a purse stolen out of an unlocked car. We all busted out the flashlights and did not find the purse, but did find 3 rifled duffels and a tiolet bag. We soon had a small crowd, it seems we were the end of a loot...

DANGER

Just a quick note:
waterbeds have heaters - on a cold playa night, a 100 gallon bag of un-heated water would suck the heat right out ot you, probably give you hypothermia.

sleeping platform

Hey calsur,
Try building a platform out of 2x4 and 1x12 (shelves) pine not much more expensive and totally burnable. Also if you just stack them you won't have to find the screws after you burn it!
