Thanks for the input
My new rig has an onboard onan that you turn on from inside the coach. Its in a sound absorbing box so noise isn't really an issue. I'm also planning to pick up an exhaust gadget that vents the exhaust up and over the roof since we have a large theme camp and we are lined up end to end. Last year a ...

Thanks so much
Really appreciate the advice everyone. As you know these thing don't come cheap and the last thing I want on my hands is tons of rust or prematurely screwed up brakes/components. My friends told me they give their trailer and their bikes a good spray down with a vinegar and water bath after they rin...

Never thought about that
thanks for the advice. I have this awesome stuff I used on some of my rubber/scooter, bike, etc. when I get back from the playa. It comes in a spray and a wipe and it lubricates but it balances out the ph so it really does a great job neutralizing the dust. On the AC Intake - do you mean in the moto...

Taking your personal RV or Motorhome to the Playa??
Recently purchased a motorhome since I plan to travel quite a bit in the next 2 years. Since I've only rented RV's in the past, I'm not familiar with all the post burn maintenance they do on those rigs. Would like to know what kind of special maintenance should be done on my rig once I return from B...

Congrats!
I don't think your nuts at all! I used the same logic when I made the decision to buy a 1968 vintage travel trailer for my first burn for 06. After buying a quiet geni, and refurbishing some of the interior - I ended up spending about $700 more than I would if i had rented an RV for one week- but no...

They found it :-)
Received a call from "home" last week. Someone turned in my bag with key, drivers license and a little money that I had in there for ice or drinks.
Thanks BRC

Saw something that was disturbing to say the least....
No recollection of my exact location but Friday morning sunrise I was dancing with a fairly large group of people. There were some metal burn pipes that had designs cut out. Sitting by the fire was a young boy that couldn't have been older than 12. He had only a T shirt, pants, shoes and a baseball ...

LOST: Turquoise & Hot Pink Furry Small Bag with Key
Lost my small (5X5") turquoise & hot pink furry zippered bag. It contained my Drivers License and it had a pale blue stretch phone cord key holder with one trailer key attached. Fortunately I hid an extra trailer key since I've heard expensive stories in the past! If found I'd be happy to pay postag...

I swear by this stuff....
I've been using Coochy Cream for several years now. I use it to shave all my bits including legs, underarms and of course ... my coochie :-)
Also doubles as an amazing hair conditioner!
See ya'll there :-)

I'm extremely lucky....
Fortunately I work at Google and management not only attends but they are extremely supportive of those that take off to go. No need to make up a bogus excuse.

Yamaha
I recently picked up the Yamaha 2400 silent generator. I have a 14 ft travel trailer with window a/c, small fridge, lights, microwave, etc. No trouble at all with running everything. Only weighs 70 pounds and is super quiet. Not cheap but felt that the quiet models afforded me more flexibility on wh...
