Hey Snow Angel, I wonder if we met you at a small east Nevada gas station on Monday, the week of the burn. There were four of us from Kansas with a jeep and a trailer. We met a guy and a girl from St. Louis who recently emigrated from Chicago. They had a homemade trailer with a load of bikes. Was th...

I'm partial to Oregon Chai, which you can find pre-made (just mix with milk) in some grocery stores and health stores in KS Kinetic. Did you drink any of the Chai at HullabalU? That was Oregon Green Tea Chai. I'm interested in finding a good recipe to make Chai cheaply in bulk. Any suggestions folks?

Can I join your revolution? I don't care so much about Center Camp but I love Chai and sharing it with others. I cooked up two big ass coffee urns full of Chai for our decompression here in Kansas this year and folks couldn't get enough You got a bona fide member of the Chai Consciousness Movement h...

My Shoes Hurt!

Yeah there's a bunch of people in Chicago! I bleive they have a couple yahoogroups or lists that you could join. I know they have a regional burn as well.

Yes thank you so much for letting those bands play on wednesday (or Thursday?) night. I'm really into electronic music but it was refreshing to hear and dance to some great bands. Kama Sutra was very funky as a jam band should be and that reggae-funk-afro band of all white people (that cracked me up...

Fuck! I knew I should've looked there! I'd been going there all week but for some reason that was the one place I didn't go that night! Figures...

DJ E, the SPace Cowboy party on Friday night fucking rocked me! I didn't stay there the whole time as I had to check on my beloved psytrance but damn the Cowboys throw a se-ious party! The other art cars adding their systems, the people on the slabs rocking them back and forth, the fire, the crazy a...

Heard it this evening. New them should be Burning Man: Unplugged . No generators, no ice, no coffee, no rave camps....[/u] Depending on how far you took it (banning alternate power sources too) Burning Man unplugged would also include no lights, even on the Man. That would kind of suck. For those w...

So where did Freeland play on Saturday night?? I looked for him as well as all the other good music I was told was going on and never found anything!! ARGH!

Our small burner tribe will be meeting outdoors on the evening of October 11th outside Lawrence KS to reconnect and relive playa experiences. Most of us are located around Kansas City but everyone is welcome. For more information hit me back privately or join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MidwestBur...

And Jaywalker, I think it was Saturday night after the burn. DJ Tiesto is my favorite DJ but Sandra's performance IMHO ranks as the second best show I've ever seen. And the only reason it's not the top is because the Tiesto set lasted 3 times as long and was oh so good! Holy shit!! Tiesto was out t...
