Uhhh No. DPW does not take your recyclables. There are trash and recycle collection stations between BRC and Reno. Some are free. others charge a small fee to fund a non-profit. Recycle Camp intends to provide a list during the event.

bring anything you can in recyclable aluminum. no plastic bottles. no glass. re-usable is even better. re-usables are best if constructed from metal or glass. plastic has limited re-usability. and the type of plastic it is made from seldom gets recycled. and it bleeds harmfulness into your food. tha...

But, there are 2 solutions. 1) Bring water in bulk. 2, 5, or 10 gallon containers (preferably reusable), and dispense it into smaller containers like Nalgene or metal containers that easily clip onto you or your bike with a caribiner. 2)Take y...

Recycle Camp BRC

I built this website to inform people about Recycle Camp and what we do (and do not do).
This is not a call for more camp mates. It is for info to better plan your Burning Man experience.
www.recyclecampbrc.info
please peruse it and recycle. Green the burn and leave no trace.

Bus rides from the Burner Hostel in Sparks

The Black Rock International Burner Hostel provides lodging and staging for Burners from around the world. It hosts 500 to 1000 yearly. We need someone to provide a bus trip or 2 or 3 to Black Rock city from Sparks/Reno for our Theme Camp Members. And a return trip(s) post-event. This is a great cha...

route suggestions

you can avoid I80 by taking Pyramid Lake HWY 446. it actually goes thru Sparks and straight up to Pyramid Lake. There it comes to a "t". Option1- asphalt all the way- go right and then about 15 miles, it will come to a "t" at HWY 447. turn left and go about 50 miles to Empire (Store and Gas) and ano...

free energy- thermal generators

here is proven and widely used technology. it is simple and very do-able. it uses heat differentials to generate electricity. heat difs on the playa are naturally abundant. here's a few links to get you started. good luck. get back to me with any thoughts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peltier...
