The bike arrived and it took perhaps less than 2 minutes to become rideable. It rides good enough for my needs.

Thanks for the suggestion of a bike lock. It's annoying to not be carefree but last year it was not uncommon to hear of people having their bikes "borrowed" without their permission.

Ahhh HAW! A fold up bike may be the best bet for myself! That is more depending on whom I end up setting a rideshare up with. I do like the idea of a compact bike to lessen the annoyance of huffing it away from BRC.

Did anyone start getting bloody noses at random (well, what appears random) at Burning Man? I got there on Tues and started having problems around Thurs.
