As fate had it that is just where our camped landed we don't make it a point to camp across from people and annoy the hell out of em. For the most part we did have good interaction with Hushvillians.....well at least I did I can't speak for others. I do know of one negative interaction and to be hon...

MALLARD! Can you hear me now? The main point of Hushville is you know you won't get a smelly, noisy generator next to your head in a neighboring camp, or a sound system on top of your cozy little shade structure. Across the street? Passing by? Sure. Although we do diplomatically and individually try...

ez-up

Campmates lost two EZ-up's this year, but then they didn't bother to secure anything.........

i'll stick with the 1 inch conduit and welded brackets they slide into. A couple of tarps and some deep rebar takes care of it.

Maybe I need to clarify a bit. I’m not claiming to be a shaman; however I am claiming to practice shamanism. To clear things up a bit here’s a little education. The term shaman originally refers to healers of the Turkic Mongol areas in Northern Asia and Mongolia. The literal Turkic/Tungus meanin...

I'd rather talk about monkeys than about pretentious asses who use native spiritual as an excuse for drug use. My interest in shamanism is mostly academic and spiritual. And that's fine. But The shamanism we speak about on e-playa is not the real shamanism. I have a lot of difficulty believing that...

Not sure of any shaman camps but we're around. I've seen a number of shamanistic things going on in the book every year including Ayahuasca ceremonies. However the same rules apply to any schedaled substance and DMT the active tryptamine of Ayahuasca is a Schedual 1 substance so it's illegal officia...

Keep everything in sealed boxes when not in use.....don't used during a dust storn. Keep they vinyl out of the sun and i've heard that if you keep it packed tight in your case it will help to keep things from warping. Clean your equipment as soon as you get home.

A simple IC voltage regulator like: http://www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/2143.pdf is very efficient. Only eats up about 6milliamps plus what ever your drawing out of it. If your tech savy then just solder it up with a heat sink and your good. If you need more than an amp out of it then add a po...
