Looking for a 1 minute time lapse of Burning Man
Hi eplayians... I'm looking to give a presentation about Burning Man and design at a design conference next year, and would love to find a one minute time lapse video to play during my presentation showing the Playa, the set up, the event - and and that it all disappears afterwards.
yeah, it looks like it was not a good year to go. He keeps saying to himself
 I hear ya. It's the regret that sets in and almost the 7 stages of denial. I didn't get a chance to go in 2008 after going in 2007 and I was like, "well, maybe I can ju...
try resetting your browser under tools or preferences if you are running a Mac. Also make sure you have enabled scripts. Hope that works for you
Yeah, tried a bunch of stuff, and ustream is frakked for me - some stupid Flash issue (if anyone needs help, try this: h...

Re: For those interested in watching...
If you see a whiteout and hear music, it's a dust storm. If it's black or just a pic with no sound it's off line. Could be because there's no one DJ'n sometime it may take a day or two for more DJs to fill the time slots or they might be having technical difficulties and j...

I'm just seeing a black screen - don't know if it's a tech issue or a whiteout issue or what. Yeah, myself and...
Those of us who work exodus and I am one of them have to actually leave the event to be trained and tested to be a flagger in Gerlach for a full day. Not everyone is a trained flagger. Some walk around in the blistering heat schlepping cones and trying not to get run over by peop...

I'll stay out of the 'it was better x year' debate, since I'm pretty conflicted and jaded about a lot of the experience. I will say that exodus seems to be worse every year; I understand it's hard to move so many people in cars out quickly, but WTF happened this year? There were a couple of girls do...

yup, locks tend to happen with private camps... not that they should bother, since the locks tend to get stolen/broken/etc. by the second day :) I will say that the portapotties were pretty damn clean this year - most of the time I went to the big banks of them near me (8 and B ish) they looked/smel...

Fantastic photos - you do capture the moments so well. And thanks for capturing the Marie Antoinnette I saw a few years ago - wonderful costume! Sorry I can't name any of the people but hopefully you'll able to get some releases. Love your site where you talk about photography and what BM means to y...

that's ok, we're all a little lost in time :D Are you near any regionals? It might be fun to find people there and find out where people are camped, so you don't feel completely alone. There's also a Stag Camp on Tribe which is made up of other people who are coming alone. The experience is worth it...

think the line depended on what time you got there (duh) - we got there around 2ish and it only took about 15 minutes to get in. It was alright... as always it's good to see the art cars and music and all of that, but too many freakin' ravers and the whole 'Burning Man in a tiny street' thing means ...

Very cool - great photos! It would be handy to add these to the Flickr group devoted to aerial photos I started (URL here: BRC from the sky). I like using Flickr because you can notes to it, but maybe we can't upload them to Flickr because of copyri...
