Trickle down doesn't. Try telling that to the hundreds of thousands of people who have already received raises from firms such as Wells Fargo, UPS, Comcast, Apple, and on and on. Hopefully your ignorance doesn't trickle down. All politics is local. "It's the economy stupid." (One of James...

It has indeed been a glorious year. The DJIA is up well over 8000 points, college endowments which help all of our children with lower tuition costs at a record high, consumer confidence at it's highest level since the 1970s, more women-owned businesses than at any time in US history, inflation stil...

With the big party just 13 days away, for those of you who would like to join us in Reno at The Sands but are not taking the train, I can get you a room at my cost ($66 including all taxes/resort fees) if you let me know before January 22. Also, Just Joe, are you going to be joining us this year? We...

There's the Sacramento Meet-up tonight at Bennie's Bar & Grille (20th and Q Street, midtown Sacto). I'll be there with several members of Barbie Death Camp. Also I too am a Placer County burner (Newcastle, the gateway to Ophir) so it you'd like to bend my ear, my time is yours.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is above 25000 for the first time in history! (25065 up 143 points) This is a rise of 7176 points, or 40.11% since President Trump was elected. Everyone who has money in an IRA, 401k, 403b, or even with Social Security is significantly better off today than you were ...

No they do not. We have several trailers, a 16' flatbed and a semi-enclosed silver trailer for our sofas, that Barbie Death Camp uses for our infrastructure and they get inspected (looking for stowaways I guess) but do not need a vehicle pass.

And what the hell happened to my avatar?

I for one trust the "greed" of big corporations--which after all we all are shareholders of and thus the beneficiaries--over the tyrannical over-reach of the federal government every day of the week.

Re: Like Access to ePLAYA? Last Best Chance To Save Net Neutrality Today!

There is another side to New Neutrality. Before 2015 we didn't have it and things were fine. The problem is with Net Neutrality what you have now is what you're going to get. There is no incentive to innovate because there is no reward in doing so. That's what makes capitalism work so well. Now if y...

It will only add to the deficit if we keep the miserable rates of return (GDP growth) of the Obama years. But if we get growth over 3%, which historically is where we ought to be, then the growth in the economy will eclipse the "cost" of the tax cuts and return a positive (read: cut the de...

You say you are a half million ahead, how much is that after you take the actual inflation rate into consideration? Zero. I look at my 401(k) and it has appreciated nearly $400,000 since Donald Trump was elected. Considering it would have likely lost around $100,000 if Mrs. Clinton had been elected...
