The Department of Complaints has registered the following complaints 1) The organizers ignore complaints 2) People complain too much 3) Burning Man isn't what it used to be because people are there for their own selfish party reasons 4) It's a damn long drive from Ft. Lauderdale 5) Some jerk dug a h...

another project

One I found very moving was a series of doors in frames only, lined up in the middle of the expanse of the desert. Each door was labeled "Trust," "Doubt," "Love," etc. Start at Doubt and walk through each door. The Love door was wired shut and said "Under Development", no doubt intentionally.

Observation a complaint?

Your observation sounds like a complaint to me. I will reword it into a complaint about the management doing nothing about complaints and it will become complaint #1 in the complaint deptartment. Meanwhile, I made my complaints about all the complaints here -- http://www.complaint.com and I do feel ...

I disagree

The complaints should be treated with the utmost respect while being totally ignored. Person B would encourage the complainer to complain about per...

Complaint Deptartment Theme Camp

I was impressed with the Ministry of Burning Man Statistics. I propose to add the Burning Man Complaint Deptartment, which I expect, by the tone of many posts on these forums (which we will display prominently as seed complaints), to be very popular and fulfill a deep need in people to be heard and ...

yes

I'd like to thank the pancake makers, the Gerlach peace officer who let me out of a speeding ticket with only an unofficial warning, my neighboors for looking out for this first timer coming solo not quite prepared, the fire dancers and other preformers; I could go on and on but will stop here.

Bollywood!

Yes, Bollywood! I find Bollywood music videos cool in an odd way so I loved the Bollywood camp with romantic Indian videos, 19th century motion picture technologies + 1 Flamenco dancer for added effect.

More about the LED wall

I did a little more research. The Irrational Geographic Society http://superdeluxe.com/igs/ did the amazing wall of LEDs. The wall of 12 by 12 RGB LED panels, about 28 across and 20 panels high, is about 10 ft wide and 6 ft high. The patterns and light from the wall move with music through flowing, ...

Art projects I enjoyed

I would like to get more information and impressions about the following art projects I enjoyed immensely: #1) I can not adequately describe this project but will try: a 15 foot high plate steel sculpture, carved with welders tools, with various arms and other projections. Inside is a small gas turb...
