Aquapac
I now have a compact digital camera, with a one inch zoom (Canon A95). Very highly rated at CNET and takes really great pictures. Amazon sells the aquapac for that model for 29.95. I have not investigated the price for a big SLR, but it would, of course, be more. My old camera was a Canon Z115. I ju...

Aquapac
I can tell you that the plastic is coated somehow and is perfectly clear. They reviewed this product on Good Morning America a while back as one of the "cool" products for the summer. I have previously ruined a camera at BM and I am happy that this year I can not worry, just whip out my camera and s...

Buy an aquapac
I just bought one. 30 bucks and completely waterproof, therefore dust proof as well. The perfect solution, my digital camera will not leave the bag all week.
Google "acquapac" and read for yourself.

Has anyone had any experience with swamp coolers /air cond?
We are bringing an RV and hope to try to keep it as cool as possible.
I have heard of swamp coolers which have evaporative fans and can run on a car lighter (DC). Has anyone used these? Do they work? Can you recommend a model?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all your responses
Actually, we are bringing an RV so technically we will have air. Out of respect for our campmates, though, we don't run to run our generator all day. I have been checking the theme camps and there is a camp that claims to have an air conditioned tent, the Geisha House. Cold tent and cold sake. No sa...

RV Camp anyone?
I will be attending my second burn. The first time I tented, but this time I have a large (but very used RV). Has there ever been a camp of RVer's, who put their RV's in a circle and try to live/share together for a week. I would like to avoid simply plopping my RV down somewhere, with no sense of c...
