Re: Looking for tips on in car AC
I'm surprised an automotive A/C system would lack recirc mode. It may be there, but not labeled as such. Perhaps in a setting called something like "max defrost". . Oh yes, Elliot, I found it right away. There was a max defrost.. on my effing microwave. Thank you so much for your help, this was inv...

Re: Loking for tips on in car AC
Thanks, but it's not what I am looking for.trilobyte wrote:I'd recommend planning on shutting the AC down by the time you pass Gerlach. Don't use the air system again until you pass Gerlach (and get back up to speed again) as you leave Gerlach going back home.
We'll be sleeping in the van and need AC.

Looking for tips on in car AC
This year we purchased a conversion van based on 2005 E250 Ford. What I realized that ventilation in this car does not have re-circulation mode. Basically you always running outside air thru the AC. There are few issues with that. Dust #1 Hot air harder to cool #2. I am looking for tips on how to so...

Sympathy accepted... I work as a Quality Assurance engineer for an IT company and you know what would happen if I don't think of a scenario which might brake my system and as a result will not test it? I will lose my job There are so many things that could go wrong with a CC: - Get hacked - Get canc...

So sad
You know, I try to stay open minded. I am always the one who gives the benefit of the doubt. When the word 'Lottery' was launched I assumed there were good reasons behind it and I trusted the good folks at BMORG have thought it thru. Boy was I wrong... I am not going to repeat everything that was di...

Re: Shade structure for your bike
I love this idea. I am trying to line up a trike with a basket for the wife for next year. She has a couple of medical issues and I just think a trike would be perfect. The shade structure looks awesone and very easy to personalize. Thank you so much for the ideas! They have the cogs turning! Consi...

Re: Shade structure for your bike
I used a mesh kind of fabric. It was white and provided great shade. It really did work. One of the best materials for this application is Organza (gota love the name). You can find it on http://www.ebay.com/sch/Sewing-Fabric-/160737/i.html?_catref=1&_fln=1&_ssn=dreampartycreation&_trksid=p3911.c0.m...

Shade structure for your bike
I've designed this for the trip in 2006. We built bikes and it looked and worked great. Got tons of compliments and questions. Structure is based on PVC, so it's very light. The benefit of having a shade will dramatically extend your bike trips under the sun. It has unlimited decorative solutions an...

Had it actually happen to you last year? I did not see a single person with a phone. And personally was so grateful to be able to call home and check on my family. I don't go to BM with 50K people to get away from people. I go there for experiences. You think a cell phone going off at the burn is ba...
