Dry ice - your experience requested.
This is my first burn and I seek advise. I am an experience camper, but never for longer than 3 days and never in the middle of the desert. I live in the desert so understand about climate, temps, winds, dust, etc but since I live in a house with electricity and a fridge, have never had to figure ou...

el wire
the peeps at coolightwest.com have a set of instructions you can print on how to work with el wire. Yes - soldering - el wire to inverter wires and you will need a power source in addition to the inverter (some small inverters are also battery packs - larger projects require lareger batteries) check...

attaching el wire
Use safety pins and clean plastic straws. Take the side of the pin with the "head" on it and attach it to your frame using hot glue and reinforced with piano wire (just in case the glue comes unglued). Place a section of clear plastic straw over the "pin" part and close the safety pin. Now you can t...

best price that I have found
call Mike at coolightwest.com rather than go online and order. 208-861-2187 let him know you are a fellow burner - why call? can't let them know online you want the burner discount - can only get it if you call. I recently purchased 2.3mm for $0.99 per foot with no quantity limits - don't know the c...

name calling/sarcasm/asking for smart ass replies
Ok play nice children. If Jimbuttwipe er way, wants to start a thread that sounds like its pure sarcasm he/she/they/ should expect to get some strange replies. As for the rest, several of the posts express much of my own thoughts on the matter. I will add that life is too short to be so petty - US p...

You are not alone
In 1997 my world fell apart and for the next 5 years I was gone. Here physically but gone. One day I decided that it would be nice to be able to go to sleep and stay asleep until the pain went away. I wasn't even thinking in terms of suicide - just being able to go to sleep so I did not have to deal...

I've been reading this thread and trying to stay uninvolved with the posts, but after reading everything that you have asked, I can't help but wonder two things either 1) you get harrassed a lot about your lifestyle choice or 2) you over worry. Now, I don't want to offend you, but to me the whole th...
