I'm a 20 year old bachelor. I am most certainly not going to luck pots and pans and shit so I can cook food. Just seems to difficult to me. (But I rarely cook at home, too.) I'll be bringing bread, and peanut butter, and things that don't have to be heated. Maybe bring a cake that can just be cut an...

You're talking about an african djembe, right?

I was thinking about bringing my drum too (made of woods and skin), but thought otherwise. I guess the heat and sun can cause the wood to crack, and skins will definitely be effected. So I'm afraid of screwing it up.

Still need drumming though!

I'm not going primarily for the sex but I do want sex to be a part of the experience, as it'll be my first. I'm a 20 year old guy, so I guess it's not all that surprising. I'd really like to meet someone new, (maybe a guy with a nice smile, or nice skin- or a girl with deep eyes and power to pull th...

Re: Let's be friends :)

This summer will be my first burn, and I'm of course planning on bringing treats for myself. I'm glad I saw this thread first though. Looks like I'll be toking up alone, and hiding in my van to do it.

Shit... I hope I land close to Ubu's camp!

Re: Welcome All New Folks!

[quote="BonnietheCajunQueen"]Welcome all new folks!! You'll find that 99.8% of the people on eplaya are very very accepting... just speak your mind and be real. Don't be afraid to be different! We like that kind of Montley krewe around here (I love Mardi Gras Spellings!!) Use this site to make aweso...

[quote="MikeVDS"]You are going to find lots of groups that will welcome you either before or during the event. You may not want to jump at the first camp that offers you a spot. There are many aspects to a camp. Their personality, organization, drama level, infrastructure, etc. You should make sure ...

Hey man... I'm a 20 (21 in Sept!) year old first timer too, and I'm coming from Sacramento. I'm looking for others to camp with. I'm not going to be bringing many luxuries- I'll bring fruit and food that doesn't have to be refrigerated, or cooked, probably. The event is all about community- so I wou...

Single, first-timer looking for a camp

Hello Everyone... I've grown determined to not let life pass me by, so I've decided that I'm going to finally get to Burning Man this year... I've been dreaming about it since high school. But I'm growing a little intimidated, as I don't believe any one I know will want to go out there with me. I'd ...
