Re: Re-virginized after a decade?
Hey, I remember you! 8) Welcome back! Uh oh nothing bad I hope ;-) Stagger In! . . . Stag Camp is still going strong, although I'm uncertain as to whether you will know any of the current Staggers (Did you know Greg? He's still there. But another one of the O.G.'s--Motskyroonmatick--is now running ...

Re-virginized after a decade?
Hey everyone! My first burn was 2007 at Stag Camp, and like most people it changed my life. I quit my job in data entry for a trucking company, & have spent the last 10 years doing seasonal work at various national parks and ski resorts, learning how to DJ and snowboard (this year starting to downhi...

In 2007 i took a 2 door convertible (i went by myself) with barely any trunk space either...managed to pack a 6' tall dome tent, a mini-tent for gear storage on-playa, a few costumes, all my water, food, booze, boom box, camping gear etc and still managed to squeeze into the drivers seat...first day...

What is up? I'm in Helena...there are only a few Burners in town here...I'm sure Missoula has more than Helena! But...a local artist/Burner here in Helena is planning a Burn-ish type event towards the end of Feb. out on one of the frozen lakes around here (if they are still frozen that is!) He's on ...

What happened to radical self-reliance? If you don't like paying bills...get rid of them. Its surprising how many people in America these days think having a car & a cell phone is necessary for survival...its not. I personally have a disdain for the concept of money and am working towards achieving ...

i think sleep deprivation is a crucial part of the experience...dont fight it, embrace it! or just drink heavily till you pass out! last year i had construction-grade earplugs, the kind made of soft plastic with 2 or 3 rings or baffles or whatever you want to call them...they go all the way into you...

E_S, Sweet!!! WE are going to have a second shade that will be the party shade. It will be on the street and there are already plans to have a PA. The DJ's will have to get together and let each other know what they can contribute. Redundancy on mixers and turntables seems like a good idea)to start...

ok well...maybe not so much...so far no one has died yet...but they do in fact contain small amounts of BPA, a chemical which could potentially have harmful effects on humans...possibly maybe...and its more likely to leach into your beverage if you swig hot tea or wine from it (as i often do) since ...

Im looking for some form of power supply to run a laptop, amp & speakers, and maybe a few colored floodlights (basically a very minimalist DJ-ing setup) so i can put on dance parties in remote areas (I will be working at Glacier Natl Park this summer) It doesn't necessarily need to be tough enough t...

I like the idea and I bring extra bikes to let people use. Only one of the bikes I brought was stolen.
