I recently made a sort of kilt out of those desk mats that allow you to roll around the office! It's less of a kilt and more of an armored skirt ala roman or so. But it should look cool with some back lighting from El Wire because it's translucent! So I'll have to have something on under it.

Last year I made completely new grommet holes by putting duct tape on both sides and then I used the grommet repair kit. It worked quite well, allowing me to cut a whole tarp to size and reset a whole new set of grommets!
