Okay, without photos my posts are useless :D Elliot, a barrel or coupler nut is 4-5 times longer than a normal nut. What I was attempting to describe was a nut 7-8 times the normal hex size, think 7/8 hex for a 1/4-28 thread. Thought was to match the outside of the pedal frame for a easy spot weld. ...

I pulled a crank spindle, drilled a hole thru the inner portion of the spindle and one thru the bottom bracket. From my pack-rat box I found a clock type spring ( think it was from a old ch...

Couple of other thoughts. Have a bike rack or atleast a bike corral. Bring bolt cutters, every morning when doing bar cleanup we always had stray bikes locked to camp artwork. We collected all the strays and piled them up across the street on the Esplanade. Most of the owners found thier way back af...

X2 on hiding your trash cans and having any patrons haul away thier moop. Amazing how many bags of trash we hauled away last year. AntiM Thanks for the info. Only option for transporting one to BRC ourselves would be to leave one of the tow rigs at home and rent a box van that a golf cart would fit in. Pez

All snarkiness aside, leave the woofer at home.

For the past 20+ years all of my dogs go just about everywhere with me, including work.

I would never never subject them to 7 - 12 days on the Playa.

Just my 2cents.
