Gettin' ready.

There is playa dust all over the basement and garage from digging out the Burning man gear. Solar panel is operational on shitty old truck camper and I think we have enough booze to safely carry us through 9 days in the desert.

Let's get this show on the road!

We have already cleared it with accounts payable. We are bringing the whole office out there next year so as to "unwind" and have team building exercises.

Having resided in tents, domes and open playa for a few years I finally broke down and RV'd it. I was well rested, pleasent, greatly reduced my use of the public portos (I sway alot when I drink...your welcome), and was able to manage my food/booze/entertainment without half an inch of dust covering...

walkabout

I think it's important to mention why people found it challenging so that any folks from the BMORG reading this will understand why it was frustrating. I was at BaggageCheck 7:30A and found that trekking around was a bit more of a challange this year. I am very sympathetic to the folks that were ca...

Cheers: 1) To the cool mo-fo's at Baggage Check. I freakin' love you guys. 2) To the saxaphones across the way from Opulant Temple. You guys were fantastic. 3) Sitting on the top of an RV with a few friends and cocktails for the burn. The intimacy of it all made me appreciate the event in a new way....

naw

If I am not standing 1/4 mile away with a 2 story mutant vehicle blocking my view as drunk people yell "sit-down" I don't want it.
I will just wait for next Saturday.

NV is the decoy burn.

I take the article as a compliment. Coming from a county/group of people that seem to have a festival every 15 minutes it is nice that they bring up our little soiree. Even if they think it is in Arizona, which it is. The one in Nevada is just to get the LEO's out of town long enough so we can have ...

No alcohol allowed on site – this includes the campsites. Searches conducted at the gate. Why? Why? Why?
