Which netweb wizards are these? I sent a message to "admin" two weeks ago to no avail. Is there another, perhaps less busy wizard to whom I should speak about a username change?

Lectures can happen too! At The Time Colony, we will be setup for lectures on just about anything, but particularly Science, History and Futurism (probably next to Math Camp, the other nerdy camp with whiteboards). If anyone wants to give a lecture, it will be open sign ups, but PM me!

The Time Colony - Want to give a talk? Also, cyborgs.

Ahoy hoy Burners, The Time Colony is a place where Victorian-aged gentiles may drink along side space robots, etc., and time travelers of any era are welcome to relax and enjoy the moment. Among other things, we have scheduled a couple of days for Lectures. If you want to give one, you can! The basi...

This past year there were a few. Arachnes Web mentioned above was in the so-called red light district, and gave lessons. Also, Freedom Camp had what they called the Kinky/Queer trailer, which I think was well-equipped and open for people to use without guidance (I could be mistaken).

Theme Variation: How To Fix [America, etc.]

You can do three things. You can stay home. You can try to change the theme, or you can work with it. Power to those working on the second, but I'm going to work with it. The theme isn't "The American Dream" anymore. It's "How to Fix the Default World" with an emphasis on America. Take your visions ...

My grandpa, who lives in Idaho, has a grave marker for his neighbor's late dog, which reads "last damn dog to shit in my yard." And it was.

On Camps, Themed and Otherwise

I have a few questions, I'd much appreciate your help. The few uncontactable people I know going to BM are all in fairly exclusive (or deadline-passed) theme camps, and I'm trying to figure out what to do. 1) Do most people stay in a theme camp or village? What other options are there? 2) How many p...

Ahoy hoy, I'm Nick, and this will be my first burn. I've spent the past month practicing for poi with socks and rice, and I've been using a variant of Sylvia Plath's method for adjusting to the heat. I don't yet have a camp, or really any sort of plan, but that's all part of the adventure...right?
