I've used a lexan french press the last few years and it works great.

I've heard of it being done, but almost everyone will tell you it's a bad idea. Very hard to keep your new tat clean and out of the sun. It's hard to keep anything clean and out of the sun @ Burning Man.

The playa is fairly lifeless. No critters, no bugs. The only bugs are stowaways that people bring with them.

I have seen a few smaller half pipes built, can't remember the camp names now, but there were at least 2 last year. I say bring the board just in case.

My girlfriend and I went together last year and we had a great time. It was my 5th and her 1st. It's fun seeing it through unjaded eyes. Read all the advice here on the eplaya, make special time together (dates), and make sure you get your time apart, stay hydrated and you will be on the right path ...

I shared a minivan last year with another person, for 2 of us it was enough room. One thing to remember that will take up a bit of space is water for all for people. @ the conservative end, no showers, minimal cooking, you are looking @ about 45 gallons of water or so. Just something to think about ...

I've tried the emergen-C's and been pretty happy. A few campmates last year went for the Emergen-C and opted to mix it with a PBR instead of water in the morning. They swore it was a surefire hangover cure. Not sure about that combo, try at own risk!
