My first year I took an old mountain bike, stuck a basket and EL wire on it and it worked ok. However, from that experience I learned that next time I wanted:

1) a cushier seat
2) a kickstand
3) higher handlebars
4) a drinkholder.

Huge jeers to Gate for railroading us into "D" lot while we were picking up a ticket from will call. Stuck us in there from 12:30am to 6am! Worst system ever, boo!!!

Cheers for literally everything else I encountered all week, especially the Disco Duck. Does anyone have any info on that thing?

My $75 Eureka tent easily withstood the storms last year with 12" plastic stakes. I duct taped plastic bags over the open mesh areas and very little dust made it inside. Now the shade structure for this year, that's gonna require rebar. http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o40/unsternst/IMG_7212.jpg

Hello everybody.

As a continuation of Hoolie's question above, can anyone tell me approximately how long the batteries will last in a 2 AA inverter powering 8 feet of EL? I guess there's the question of alkaline versus rechargeable nimh too.

Thanks.
