Get your tent off the ground... So last year I had this strange idea.....and now my camp is 3 feet(soon to be 5') off the ground. I have a 12' trampoline, covered by a Jumpking T2 trampoline tent, which is then covered with alluminet. the tramp fram is held down by racheting tie downs and big ass re...

Best Shade Cloth
Wow, the Eplays lives...havn't posted here in forever... Now back to one of my favorite subjects...Shadecloth I started using Aluminet last year and wouldn't use anything else. It provides 80% shade and does not xfer heat to surfaces it's in contact with. That means that you don't need to have air s...

FUCK!!!! Um, ya'll are way too much in your head. Maybe let it rest till after the burn? When we will have more information. There have been lots of changes implemented this year to the DMV process and to the way the community will react to vehicles breaking the rules. Lets just see how it all plays...

I don't think your being critical at all. I didn't take it for a request for a forcast. Sounded like an accident waiting to happen, expecially since she doesn't have a ticket yet and packing for rain would be problematic. Then again I may be reading into it. Though if it was a weather request a quic...

Never done LARP, done lots and lots of D&D, a bit of vampire, cyperpunk and whatnot. But I'm up for this! Sounds like it's going to be amazing. Is there anything I can read up on? (ya, I realize I just outed myself as a geek) Or is spontainious better? I'm good either way. Got room for one more? Mit...

I'm sleeping on a trampoline this year. Got the idea while surfing Ebay. They had trampoline tents for sale. So I found a cheap 12 foot trampoline and picked up a trampoine tent for it. I have a king size 2 inch mattress topper to go on the trampoline, a giant velor piece of fabric to cover it, add ...

Anything can happen at the burn. Even if he came with you anything would still be likely to happen. I'd be insucure as well, but I lean in that direction anyways. The only thing that comes to mind is to spend more time with him, do some special things for him now and during the event. Maybe you coul...

Q: How do I get clean on the Playa? A: Actually, you don't. But you can remove a few lays of playa dust, body paint or what not so new layers can accumulate. Bring baby wipes, a garden sprayer a plastic dish pan to stand in a face cloth and some Dr. Bronners soap. Make a friend and have them spray y...

I don't know about any of this scientific stuff. All I know is that the people who run the event asked me to not piss on the playa and to pack out what I pack in, including gray water. Will thrity thousand people pissing and washing on the playa effect it? Why take the chance. Not like it's a huge b...

Field testing is essential. You don't want to be experimenting on the playa. Got anywhere around where you live that's windy? PVC is probably a better bet, you can use simliar lenths and widths, it's lighter and will bend before it breaks, if it breaks at all. I use a carport/tarp kind of thing, but...
