I highly recommend that folks organize trips with their friends and family to celebrate this time of year. Not to change topics too much but... I'll be headed out to New Orleans NYE this year and the last time I was down there I was 12. Anyone got any good ideas of places down there to ring in the ...

Here's a question. I'll be coming in from Maryland. I'd prefer not to drive all the way to Nevada because thats a week long trip, from the east coast, so i'll be flying in. There's absolutely no way i'm shipping water across the US unless I have to. So the question is this: Is it a good idea for me ...

showers/bathing
How does one go about containing and hauling out portable shower water? I was thinking of purchasing a portable shower but none of the ones I've looked at look to have any sort of way to catch the drainage water. Or better yet, how does one stay in the desert for a week and not come out funky. How ...

Personally I don't think I've had it all that rough or that my problems are too much for me to handle. Yes, I had to move back in with the family but we're a very close knit bunch, I love them they love me, and they have plenty of room, so its not all that bad (hence the smileys on the earlier post)...

I don’t often go out for NYE, but my best experience was about 3 years ago. At the last minute I decided to go to a party with a friend. I knew no one except the person I was with (who later disappeared from the party) but I left with a hangover and two great friends that will be with me for life. W...

In my Principles of Psychotherapy class sophmore year we had a unit on client etiquite. One of the main points that was taught was never to ask a client 'why'. They become defensive and distrusting of your intentions. Instead of asking 'why' one must rephrase all questions. Saying things such as "co...

My tirade....
Because I wanna know. See how simple that was? You asked *WHY*. You wanted an explanation, and I gave it. It wasn't difficult, the world didn't end because I had to give a bit of an explanation, and the explanation that I gave (although a bit vague) provided a complete answer. Personally, I ask why ...

1. Once upon a time there was a woman with three children all under the age of 10. The fact that she had kids isn't really important, but its useful in understanding why she was late for Church on one particular Sunday morning. Anyway, shes late for church. So as she hustles her children up the sta...

Re: wooden dick/trojan horse
i have three huge penis' under a tarp in my garage & am willing to travel. Any ideas? I think you should take them to my alma mater Mount Saint Mary's. You could place them right in the middle of the quad, lined up all nice and pretty.... I'm sure the seminarians would get a kick out of that.
