I wouldn't be so quick to blame the women for the problem. I've stood in line right after JOTS cleaned the things, and the guys in front of me have had control problems. In my experience it's far from being a woman thing. And I won't even begin to get into why those guys didn't use the urinal on th...

Might be worth noting that the same text appeared last year but then when we got on the playa the service never materialized. In fact, when I went to sign up for it I was told that plans to provide it had been canceled. So don't rely on this as your first plan, would be my opinion, but it might wor...

Re: Thanks for all your responses

Actually, we are bringing an RV so technically we will have air. Out of respect for our campmates, though, we don't run to run our generator all day. I have been checking the theme camps and there is a camp that claims to have an air conditioned tent, the Geisha House. Cold tent and cold sake. No s...

Driving a van from Mesa, AZ to BR, looking for rider(s)...

I am driving a camper van from Mesa, AZ on Saturday, August 28th, arriving in BR Sunday, and returning on Sunday or Monday, Sep. 5th or 6th, arriving the day after. Will be stopping @ Bailey's hot springs over night each way. Could use some help with gas $, but mostly 'cause it's a long way to drive...

Re: re spooge pool

"Okay, who wants to do the "Spooge in a Pool" theme camp...?" Don’t shoot me, I’m only the messenger. 1 spooge = 1cc. 15,000 men x 8 days = 120,000 spooges = 120 liters 1 liter = 61 cubic inches. 120 liters = 7321 cubic inches diameter of wading pool = 72 in. area of wading pool = * x 36 x 36 = 406...

Re: reasonable suspicion and probable cause-what are they?

This is what flexyourrights.org says, but the term reasonable suspicion is vary vague. Most cops think will think they have reasonable suspicion of most people all the time! Is looking suspicious always a cause to search? "Reasonable suspicion Facts or circumstances which would lead a reasonable pe...

Even electric scooters cause noise and pollution (you need a generator to recharge them, so the noise and pollution are in the camp, is it better ?). I must disagree here. I rode an electric hybrid bicycle this year (electric assist while I pedaled), and charged it totally from solar power. The ele...

No, not that kind. Just a giant piece of fishnet secured across the gaps. Immune to wind and a real surprize in the dark!

Bringing a little RV

Hi All! I bought a camping van and brought it to BM 2003. It has a toilet and shower, and the issue of gray water management was the real challenge (only a 20 gallon gray water tank). I brought 30 extra gallons in paint buckets (the cheapest storage I could find), and found that the good people who ...
