There have just been too many bad experiences in the past. While I'm sure that most dog owners could make the playa a good experience for their beloved buddy, the others have already spoiled it. As DeadlyKungFu said, the playa is a bad place for animals. It is extremely hot and dry, very noisy, and ...

Whenever you see a bunch of sleeping puppies in a box they are just lying everywhere using each other as pillows, limbs and ...

Being a psy-trancer myself, I am allways happy to see candy kids at psy parties. It's good to see them trying music other than the typical prog-trance, and mainstream rave that most of them listen too. Most candy kids I have met have been really cool.

I have to agree about Firefox, awsome browser. Mozilla is great, a little laden with unneeded features though.

Down with IE

The one brush I had with thieves was in 2001. After a night out on the playa we returned to camp to find no cold beer left in the cooler. Oddly enough none of the warm beer "on deck" had been taken. The whole camp had been out, so it wasn't one of us. We have no problem sharing our beer, we just wan...

For those that don't know, a kilt does not need to be sewn. Here is a link that shows the old ways of kilt pleating http://www.kalani.net/KiltPleating101.htm

Pleating on the playa?

I apologize if this has already been gone over. Is said kilt a "great kilt"? Will you be pleating in the playa? If so I would have to recommend bringing a tarp to pleat on. Or, is it one that is pre-made, with the pleats sewn in? I have both and only plan on bringing my "military" (pre- pleated) kil...
