I really don't enjoy ripping into your group. And for the past few months /years I had information that led me to believe you were nothing but a bunch of whiny assed playa racers who were hiding behind an environmental shield to protect your precious playa dragrstrip. The lack of interest in fighti...

Was the man smaller this year?
The Man was actually difficult to see from the road and didn't seem to have any neon on it like it did in years past.
Why the change? Any particular reason for it or were they just trying out different things?
(I really am just curious. That's all.)

Oh just shut up. Stop BM org is demonstrably not about environmental conditions in the black rock playa, it's about stopping BM for whatever petty reason these guys have. On this thread: http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?t=9427&highlight= respecttheplanet starts talking about how BM's coor...

Irrelevant? Look at the top of the current page. Click on "Search". Look at the space where you can search by author. Type in "respecttheplanet". Click search. Read a little ways and my comment certainly becomes relevant. I did the search and made my comment. It should become quite clear at that po...

Take a look at the BLM letters.

What happened to the "Burnin' Bush" festival?
From the way it sounds, because the BLM lets Burning Man/Black Rock LLC have things a certain way, it put an undue hardship on the Burnin' Bush festival and as a result it was cancelled. Have any other groups suffered because of the BLM stipulations? They came down hard on the Burnin' Bush folks bec...

[quote] The AP article gave them credence and credibility to a much larger audience than the 3200+ users here. And that's the problem. This group (the eplaya) has broken down every single argument they presented and it looked like they had retreated. [quote] You ARE delusional, aren't you? No, you h...

Re: Very clever, but not very helpful
Still, unless the rangers know if the people at the springs were burners- how do you know who to exclude? Alright, put someone from BMORG at the springs. Do they then follow the perpetrators until they try to re-enter? Who watches the springs while this is happening? What about people taking a dip ...

So, let me make sure I understand this...you don't go to the event? And you are relying on the media along with a few on the ground observations to form an opinion? Your missing some key parts of the story. I said that i don't attend the event, not that I've never been there. To clarify, yes, I *ha...

Cross posting is going to get you nothing but disrespect and for some users, a very quick flick of the scroll bars to ignore your posts. For someone who's trying to garner support for their positions your doing a fine job of alienating everyone. Cut the cross posting...and don't be surprised if you...

Re: The point.
I think that the issue here is you keep saying that the Burning Man organization is being hypocritical, and that their actions should match their words. Problem is, you and Rex appear to be twice the hypocrites. Now that you've shown your true colors, I think I'm pretty much done with checking your...

Well they still haven't. Or perhaps you haven't. Your registrant info is still fraudulent. No, it is not "fradulent" in any way. http://www.stopburningman.org/images/whois.jpg - There you go. I passed a couch on my way out on the morning after the burn. A half a mile or so down 447. I was upset it was there and pissed I wasn't able to do something. I was packed to the brim with trash. 1. What is your goal? What would you like to see happen? Is there a solution to any of the problems you have submitted for our review? What would we like to see happen? When you don't have a good argument, you don't argue the facts, you attack weaknesses, harang and harass and shout down your opponent. Sounds like alanon has read "protesting for dummies". You guys have done a great job of that - shouting down those that oppose what the BMORG has done. We have a ve...

Re: Very clever, but not very helpful
I see the first three suggestions as valid and possible in theory (I don't work for BMORG, so I can't speak from a knowledgable standpoint). The problem is that this involves the BLM employees time just as much as BM's. Not sure on the typical BLM worker, but I do know civil servants from DoD. If t...

Stay on the playa surface, drive only on obvious, marked roads, keep speeds under 5 mph in Black Rock City. Avoid the Hot Springs during the event. These delicate ecosystems cannot handle the volume of usage that free use during the event creates. Also, many of the surrounding hotsprings are on pri...

So you and your cohorts, puppets, friends, or whatever have made your point a couple of dozen times now. We, as Burners, aren't environmentally perfect and neither is the LLC. Still though -- not a single email, not a single post about the proposed solution. It makes me wonder if people actually care about what the event does to the area. Your arguements are pretty skewed. Admittedly, I don't have first hand knowledge of the clean up process and success. How do you know they're skewed if you have no knowledge of the clean up process? Some of us have actually participated in it and have personally SEEN BMORG employees lying to the BL...
