I know what your going thru, I've been reading everything I can lay my eyes on about Burning Man. Last thing I want is to go unprepared and a become a burden on those around me. I think I have it down, just counting the clock down now, hope to see ya out there!

Is it effective to have some kind of shade structure over your tent? I was thinking of a carport that went over the tent with room for a chill space during the day, any ideas?

just curious.. what kind of air conditioner did you use and generator, did it work keeping it cool in the heat of the day?

I've been looking at buying one for a few years now, just a little nervous about setup, i am not mechanically inclined at all. I do think it's a fair price and looks like it would protect you from all the elements out on the playa.
