On Wednesday, my neighbour frantically came to me and asked if I had seen his tent. I hadn't, but it definitely wasn't there. He said he figured if he kept all his stuff in it, it wouldn't blow away. I sent him to the trash fence, but never saw him again.

Monday at dawn greeter - red hair and beard - had a bit of a bitch session with me (don't know what it was about, but he had been at the gate since midnight, poor guy) - after he was done, he was right on track again; welcome home, ring the bell, roll in the dust! loved him.

I totally want to be a part of this! How can we get it together? I live in British Columbia. I have a shitload of 80s crap that wouldn't sell in the last garage sale, and for some reason, I can still recall that decade. Video games! If there was some way to hermetically seal my son's "antique" NES a...

Absolutely no offense taken Col.Monk - I totally agree with you! The rv, while welcome, did take away from my pride in survival skills. the guy and the hat

I ran into a fellow, very drunk, lost in the playa on Friday night looking for the temple. I took his arm and started walking with him to the temple and he told me that earlier that day, a man had told him that he reminded the man of his son who had died earlier this year, and he gave my new friend ...

yes, I felt completely in tune with both worlds - not necessarily the spiritual and the corporeal, but when all those memories went up in flames, and the crowd of 30,000 went dead quiet, I felt a true connection with the minds and souls of those around me and when we all saw the fingers at the same ...

[quote="Captain Goddammit"] Generators are great, if they're quiet ones, but here's a suggestion: Get a propane fridge from a camper that's being parted out. They are silent, work GREAT, and use almost no propane. I've brought electric fridges and it's a pain having to keep the AC power on 27/7, esp...

I put my mom's travel journals in the temple because she would have loved to be at Burning Man, or at least see me and her grandson there.
