I've never camped with them on the Playa, but I know most of the A51 crew from regionals on the South East of the US, and they are a solid bunch.

I don't know him, but I did speak to him at the burn. He said EACH of these was powered by a watch battery. Ouch.

The giant screen was Roots. Nexus ended at the geodesic fire sphere. There was a HUGE posterboard at the Roots dome with the lineup for the small dome, the large dome and the screen.

While I don't mind the cops, this 'hey, please please please gift me some drugs because blah blah blah' entrapment bullshit has GOT to stop.

We had several people come up to our camp while we were cooking and ask for food because they had 'run out'. This was on thu or fri. We were right behind center camp at 6/D, so we had a fair amount of foot traffic walking by, but still....

From stories I've heard from the 'good old days' (pre-96), this used to be VERY common. Personally I think the non-consensual 'sharing' of drugs is far more problematic than most people realize. Sorry it happened to you, and I'm glad it worked out. I don't know anyone this has happened to on Playa, ...
