Really? You guys have problems with playa bars? I've never really had much of a problem getting a drink at any bar I've stopped at for 5 years now, or even encountered much of any rudeness.

I'm not cute and lack tits too.

An alternate to the ice cream ball.... Put the ice cream stuffs into a large ziplock bag. Seal. Put the large bag into another bag full of ice and salt. Seal. Wrap the double bagged goodness in newspaper so that it resembles a ball. Throw this ball around with yer friends for a while. Eventually yo...

My concern with being naked is being naked and still meeting people. How can i be naked and walk up to someone and start a conversation without it being "Hey hey check it out, COCK!" Ha, my first year a friend and I were stopped by a very kind and soft spoken older gentleman who wanted to take a pi...

Bike snob or no, I don't think I'd want to take any bike out there I paid more than 20 bucks for, and it would definately have to be a cruiser. I can imagine the playa wreaking havoc on exposed gears.

I don't know that the attitude that attractive people have more worth than unattractive people is exclusive to the 20somethings out there. In fact, I find that I notice attractive folks, clothed or no, receiving special treatment at Burning Man far more often than I see it in my everyday life. I've ...

Not effective when the computers are down and the lines are so long that the boards get to be five layers thick. The computers have nothing to do with the bulletin board except they happen to be located at the same place. In 5 years I've never seen a line to look at the boards. Towards the end of t...

In addition to what everyone else has said, I've always had great luck in tacking up paper messages at the board outside Playa Info. We found our camp last year this way, and I think I found the message after barely a minute of looking for it. If you're planning on getting to BM the same day, but ar...

Ziplock bags are a must in my book, as are tools, work gloves, cooler, and condoms and lube. A bike is a "nice" thing to have for me, but I kind of prefer experiencing the city on my own two feet. My first year, at the tender age of 23, I was trying to delicately explain about Burning Man to my parents. I don't feel like doing the exact math, but there are rows of JOTS every few blocks inside the city semicircle. It's harder to find a potty the further from the city you wander. I'm amazed that the annual playa rugby match doesn't turn more physical. If the ruggers can avoid pounding each other into the playa, I have high faith the flag footballers will probably do the same. That said, I'd love to play, though I'm almost positive I won't be able to come up with 4 others. An...

Travel Delays on I-80?

Does anyone know how ripped up I-80 between Sacramento and Reno will be for this year's Burn? Alcohol, RVs, Driving, and You

Are passengers in the back of a RV allowed to drink alcohol? I have heard this is ok provided said RV is equipped with a toilet, though I have suspicions that if this is true, it may not be true from state to state.
