Here is an example of what "naughty" media does to our community. I completely agree. I found the article to be extremely biased in nature and totally missing the essence of BM and clearly had extreme bias regarding the event before he even showed up. As a media person, I find this deplorable and a...

It’s probably more snobbery than anything... lol Actually I suppose I should rephrase the answer. There is no immediate intention to publish them, but at some point as part of a book, several probably will be, but not in the near future. As far as why I don’t want to be grouped in with the perso...

On Friday some plain-clothes dude wandered into the Orgasmateria during a couples seminar, apologized for interrupting and asked if he could take a picture. Now that is wrong! This is where I totally understand peoples anger. I really don't get why people just have to take a picture of someone when...

We do not publish anything from BM or any other lifestyle events. We used our cameras so I can go home and use the pictures to paint what I cannot remember, and we document our life... We are not traditional media. -one sentence moved by me, for effect. Well, sweetheart, if you're not publishing, y...

"I was refering to a guy that WOKE me up while photgraphing me sleeping with his massive flash jumbo pro camera" I don't blame you for being pissed off there!! I don't think I would be too happy about that either. I really wish some of these people would get a clue and act responsibly as they cause ...

FYI a pro camera is an effective weapon in a street fight. Even a D80 works, though you will crack the plastic housing. HAHAHA, I wasn't even going to go there.. One of the cameras we still shoot with is a Kodak Professional DCS760. The damn thing must weight 10 pounds and would probably take...

Retaliation is a double edged sword! Keep in mind that should you decide to retaliate against someone taking your picture (Like me for example) that more likely than not, the photographer is probably going to retaliate as well. For example… If you walk up to me and threaten to take my camera and s...

As I said, I have no issues with someone turning in a press person who is acting inappropriately! Just because we are press, I certainly am not going to make a blanket statement that all press people will act appropriately! Not at all!! Jaron stated in his post “The presents of the media this year...

And on the HIV thing, I assure you that If I went and got tested becuase you threw an unknown bodily fluid on...

I think the media have a right to be there, but do they have to be so square? Why yes we do have to be square.. 8) Actually not all of us are square! I understand people’s views on the media, some of them are asses but then there are asshole burners as well. Personally, we tried to be as transpar...

First before I give what will surely be a very unpopular opinion on this subject let me say this… My wife and I are Buddhists so obviously we don’t wish ill will on anyone, and it is a shame that due to someone’s complete lack of maturity that these peoples lives were harmed however… We also...

Ya we know all about the GWC's. These people really piss us off, as we really do try to be fair about our photography. If someone doesn't want thier picture taken we won't do it, and we are professionals, we don't generally get involved in the picture, and are pretty much invisable when we shoot. So...

It's all very brave when you don't have anything to lose to say that you don't care who sees, but some people don't have that luxury. Actually we all have something to loose! Believe me, we get the whole child custody thing, been there, done that, and trust me, if opposing council wants to hold it a...

I really don't understand people on topics such as this. If you are embarrassed of your lifestyle and the fact that you went to burning man, then perhaps you shouldn't go. As Redheadbarbie stated, we try to get permission first, but at an event of this size, it’s pretty much impossible. So if youâ...
