Re: Burning Man purchased Fly Ranch.....
Fly geyser event this weekend tickets were/are $150 plus 8.50 fee. Speakers, plus help winterize baba yaga... Volunteer labor.
My labor is adequately exploited by my employer. I do not wish to extend the experience into my recreational pursuits, and won't be paying that exorbitant price either.

I have a small direct deposit made to a little used account with every paycheck. It's painless, and adds up to burning man over the course of a year.

Re: 2019 One Item A Day For Burning Man
I got a haircut and got postcards printed. More than I expected, since my home is an explosion of mobile trike stereo parts and pieces. The one item today really should be attending to this mess. Clothes, food, furniture, bedding, housing, all ready.

Re: Best Tent
For the requirement to stand in it, I'd say all tents in that size range are going to be at least 6 feet high inside at some point in the tent... getting dressed easily height. Requirement two, to not blow over: I think a good three season dome tent with good tie outs, and stake points, for tent and...

Re: attracting butterflies. It's a bit cruel, don't you think? Will they be fooled enough to come back after that trick? The tale of the bladder who cried, "pollen!" Re: Water Storage/ Shower Situation
As a solo camper, I tried an evaporation approach one year, and never tried it again. The packed volume of the dirty ( icky dirty, mind you) evap system was larger than a simple 5 gallon grey water container. I put a small hunk of polyester batting/filter floss in the bottom of a big funnel each tim...

:coffee: first. Wednesday is a day off in the middle of the week for me. It's called the donut shift, with a hole in the middle. This thing in the desert is looming, and I will be attending this year. I have accumulated enough stuff, so that there is no big purchasing schedule. I get to sort through...

2019, I purchased two tickets and one vp, I split the fees, 592.77 with vehicle pass (which had it's own $4 service fee,) 488.77 for just the ticket. With a single ticket and all it's own fees, your figure sounds about right.

Don't go full suspension. It's flat, so the shocks will just sucked energy, especially in the real dusty traps.

To MikeGyver. A young man who would watch and usually speak second, with well considered words. Could make it, or fix it, kept a very good all purpose tool kit, and I never heard him complain. Rest in Peace MikeGyver. Omni-competent burner. Re: North Pole 30 ft Shade Canopy - seek center pole
There is a fitting at the top of the tent that the pole goes into, that would give you a measurement for the pole diameter. Image search pulled up a site that lists the tent height as 12.5 ft. What you will have trouble finding (if it is missing... you say you have all the other parts?) is the three...
