I agree about the sturdy, simple and reliable..but you should never forget the rad. Something can be rad without the ego--and that bike has rad all over it.

It has been suggested to me to take an extra air filter and swap it out as soon as you drive off the playa, before the long drive back into the real world. This will be my first year driving my own vehicle to the burn and that is what I will be doing.

Thanks LeChatNoir. When you say deep playa, do you mean out of BRC on the playa, or is there a camp called deep playa? And I was referring to Surly Camp and the Surly Bird Art Car.
