It’s totally fine to be an idiot at the last moment like the rest of us, but last night I saw a tight ass older yuppie get on the big box store rep’s ass about inventory and call other stores to find lag screws.
I’ve used 1inch galvi nails for years.

But, I have found myself looking past more and more camps. However, plug and play camps are not dominating the streets.

Re: Thoughts on shade for a very large canvas tent?
Check out this thread. I have a12x20 by 9ft tall tent and you are right in going all the way with the coverage and a quality material. I use 4x4s for support poles to attach ratchet straps and anchors but emt can work too. The middle of the tent forms 2 points that help support the shade cloth. Make...

I arrived at the gate at 4pm Sunday last year and the worker said "wow, you are actually supposed to be here." I had EA for wed, but had MV issues. Don't worry about it.

Re: PVC monkey hut/EMT Conduit awning hybrid?
i've snapped paracord guying out 10ft 4x4's, but that was just to see if it could finally get that shit to break. The knots were completely locked, but my go to for guying out corners are ratchet straps. you can find good ones with proper handles for cheap if you look hard enough.

Re: Another hammock question
doable, but not recommended. Everyone hanging out in my monkey hut in '08 ran into a trailer during the white outs. They kind of looked at me in a crazy when i ran into the dust and disappeared. If you close up the ends really good, it might be OK, but then you just end up trapping all the heat. Hon...

Re: Tail lights
The people in charge of safety and order need to be able to identify the "front" and "rear" in an emergency situation. Since people are typically more concerned with the front, the easiest way to identify the rear is with 2 red lights. They can be glow sticks if it's proportional; be creative if nee...

Solder splice connectors. These things are bombproof if done right. Quick and easy for the most part.

The hammock is missing, and the bottoms of the 4x4's are dilled out about 3/4" x 12" deep for concrete stake forms to slide in.

First on reddit, now on eplaya. I'm your stalker ha ha.
We looked for you on the playa this year, but left as you arrived!
I've done three days before, definitely good but not as much community love.
Glad you made it out mark.

"headache" sounds about right. 91 gas yamaha. air filter was dead by the end of the week. also, tune the engine at altitude if needed. i was coming from coastal california, and noticed it running rich right off the bat. I've had about 800lbs+ on it, and it's not happy. http://i.imgur.com/BDsxI.jpg

Can you be more specific as to the power consumption per foot/meter? RGB or all single color? What SMD do you have-any part number would be a great help? Picture? Did you have problems last year? After many hours researching this, it seemed way more economical to buy then sell. I picked up a 5x10 for7-800 in gilroy. Same rental seemed to run $300 or more!! WTF.
