Their ads list one or two, and four tickets.
They just never run out.
But where are they getting their supply? (If they really do have more than a handful.)

Re: Did you get a STEP Ticket?

Um, er, ahh, hrmm ... so ah, what happens to STEP now that tickets have been mailed out? If STEP has been about folks returning their tickets while they're still ether and all it took was a whisper (email) in the right ear, will any more be entering the pipeline? Seems rather unlikely that many folk...

Thanks for the tips guys. Some battery gurus on another forum suggested a large (12v, 50w) light bulb in series (between the positive terminals) to moderate the current. And the consensus there was: This wouldn't be a great idea with a larger system but probably wouldn't be a problem for one my size...

Solar charging - question (2 batteries, 1 controller)

Can I safely charge 2 differing batteries simultaneously on the same solar charger? Both batteries are 12v but ... One battery is an 80Ah deep-cycle battery that is permanently connected to the system & serves our camp needs; the other is a 20Ah sealed lead-acid battery I remove at night to illumina...

One other thought ...

The - ha ha - "roads" in BRC can be very uneven/bumpy, especially later in the week, meaning you will get bounced around. If your injury would be aggravated by this, consider extra padding/pillows for your ride, or whatever would ameliorate the negative effects due to jostling. BTW I'm not trying to...

More on hexayurt ventilation - attic turbine?

For the first two years I've had my hexayurt, I've used a solar panel/computer fan ventilation system in it (wish I could acknowledge the designer!) But I'm just not convinced that the amount of air it vents makes much difference. Anyone ever used one of these? http://i50.tinypic.com/2u8ues2.jpg Thi...

What kind of doors do most use for their hexayurts? The hexayurt website recommends the vertical type door that is attached at the top and swings in or out, but that seems really inconvenient It is! :( I have the hinged-at-the-top door on my hexayurt and hate it. Gonna reconfigure to a more "standa...
